[1] Some ADSL providers provide different usage
allocations for different time bands. We let you use your connection
whenever you want without penalty.
[2] Some other ADSL service providers assess and
charge for both upload and download data on your ADSL connection.
This means that applications which send and receive data
concurrently (such as online games) are effectively double-charged.
NetYP assesses usage only in the 'download' (Internet-to-customer)
direction, and traffic returned from the customer to the Internet is
FREE.
Important Information
- $129 once-off setup and activation fee applies to
new ADSL services.
- $39 once-off setup and activation fee applies to
ADSL services
transferred (churned) from other supporting ADSL providers..
- IP address assignments are from NetYP address ranges and are
retained by NetYP on termination of service.
- Static IP allocations may be modified by NetYP to address
technical requirements at 14 days' notice.
- No Contract commitment, a $65 early termination fee applies
if service is cancelled within 6 months.
- Monthly payments may only be made via credit card.
- The service can also be invoiced on a quarterly basis, paid
in advance.
- Conditions may change - If service conditions are changed in
the future, customers will be permitted to cease using the
service without penalty if the new conditions are not accepted.
- ADSL services are non-refundable.
- Definitions:
- MB is Megabyte
- GB is Gigabyte, 1 Gigabyte is equal to 1,000 Megabytes
Notes
1. Automatic ADSL Service Cancellations:
Please be aware that your NetYP ADSL service will be
automatically cancelled by Telstra and a new ADSL service will
need to be ordered by you (including a new Activation fee):
- When your Telephone account is cancelled.
- When you shift location (even if taking the same number
with you).
- If you order an ADSL-incompatible product on the line
ADSL is delivered on. We strongly advise that you contact
our Sales department to discuss any pending changes to your
phone service prior to making those changes.
2. Service Activation
ADSL services are normally provisioned within 21 days and
Activated by NetYP no later that 7 days thereafter at which time
NetYP will commence billing the customer.
3. Billing:
NetYP recommends monthly credit card payments as any
requested changes to services (such as changing Plan) can only
be actioned at the start of the next billing period, as per our
Terms and Conditions. Also, if selecting quarterly invoicing,
the first quarterly service charge plus activation fee and any
hardware charges must be paid in full before NetYP can activate
the service - please talk to an NetYP Sales Representative for
further information.
For monthly accounts, the setup fee, hardware and first
monthly fee will be charged to your Credit Card upon service
activation. NetYP accepts cash, cheque, money orders and major
credit cards to pay an invoice. NetYP services are
non-refundable.
4. Notification:
Tax invoices, NetYP Bulletins and automated data usage
warning messages are sent to your NetYP email address.
Please refer to the configuration sheet (supplied when your
service is activated) for details of your address.
